Issue No 92
In this issue we re-visit Warren Farm and Hanwell Nature’s new attempts to save its 61 acres from environmental destruction. We review past and present activities of Ealing’s oldest charity – the Charity of William Hobbayne. A new annual feature is our review of some of what Ealing Council did throughout the previous year. On the sporting front we submerge ourselves in underwater hockey and in the cultural dimension we celebrate ten of our local choirs and showcase some of Ealing’s amateur poets in celebrating Spring. We explain and encourage ‘edible’ playgrounds and bemoan the threat to a Southall Afro-Caribbean legend – the Tudor Rose.
