Issue No 88
In the spring 2019 issue of Neighbour’s Paper we look at the new cuts planned for Ealing libraries. The council proposes that 7 out of the 13 libraries be run by volunteers rather than paid staff. There will be consultation events around the borough where residents can hear about the plans and have their say. Have your say here: petition to save Ealing libraries or contact your local councillor.
Heathrow have also planned changes to their flight paths which means things could get noisier for Ealing. Ward Forums are under threat which combined with a lack of councillor surgeries limit the contact options between residents and councillors.
We also have stories on the Chesskteers Club, the closure of 106 year old Parkers Bakery, the challenges our high streets face, community energy projects and more.
